Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash today directed the agencies concerned to visit the areas susceptible to waterlogging and submit a report within two days.
Prakash issued directions at a high level meeting of all the agencies concerned over the issue of waterlogging.
An official, who attended the meeting, said the chief secretary directed everybody to visit the affected areas and find out why the waterlogging problem occurred and what could be the solution.
The agencies concerned were asked to work in coordination and stop passing the buck to each other on the issue of waterlogging, he said.
The meeting was attended by 14 agencies, including PWD, the three municipal corporations, the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), the Delhi Cantonment, the Delhi Police, the Flood and Irrigation Department and the Delhi Jal Board.
