CSC Forum helps bridge India's digital divide

CSC Forum today said it has contributed significantly to Digital India having trained over 2,60,000 individuals in various e-learning programmes, generated 55 million aadhaar cards and opened 26 million bank accounts through its network of 90,000 common service centers (CSCs)
The 11-member CSC Forum, an umbrella body for Service Centre Agencies (SCAs) was playing a pivotal role in taking forward the 'Digital India' movement, a statement said here today.
As part of the national e-Gov project by the Centre to act as an interface with the public, CSCs were encouraged to roll out in PPP model
"With more than 90000, centers we have been able to bring the 'Digital India' dream closer to reality. This has been made possible due to our focus, commitment and innovation in the phase of extremely difficult circumstances," CSC Forum member Rajiv Aggarwal said.
