Benchmark index CSE-40 posted a gain of 52 points during the day. The local bourse was higher by 48.59 points in the previous session.
It opened at 6823.47 and during the day it jumped to close at 6875.50.
Total turnover was Rs 10.23 crore from 20 scrips.
Blueprint Securities was at Rs 309. Infosys was higher at Rs 2321.60 at close.
Tata Steel was at Rs 395 and Reliance ended higher at Rs 837. State Bank of India was at Rs 2318.
Vindus Holding was at Rs 307 at close.
