The corporate social responsibility wing - CSS Corp Foundation, is conducting the programme which helps students from class eleven and twelve achieve computer literacy, city-based CSS Corp said in a statement.
The curriculum focuses on providing hands-on training on the usage of smart computer tools like Microsoft Office packages. Emphasis will be to make students digitally literate and help them use computers as an academic aid, it said.
According to CSS Corp Chief Human Resources and Executive Vice-President, David Raj, in the first phase the company trained 500 students of class nine and ten.
During the 40-day training programme, students would be trained by experienced trainers and periodical assessment of students would be conducted, it said.
