The app, that has over eight million users, helps users learn spoken English, grammar and vocabulary building.
"We understand that learning English can often be a painful experience and according to Census data, only 12-15 per cent people in India can speak English. So, there is a huge potential," Co-founder at CultureAlley Pranshu Bhandari said.
The aim is to have 13-14 million users by March, she said.
"We are also expanding the number of modules we offer to cater to the requirements of learners across beginners, intermediate and advanced levels," she added.

CultureAlley has a team of 60 people that works on technology and content development.
"We plan to have about 100 people by March 2016. The focus is on building our content library in a manner so as to serve the Indian population. We have to keep in mind various aspects like accent and usage of words," Bhandari said.
Co-founded by IIT-Bombay alumnus Nishant Patni and Pranshu Bhandari, the startup launched the English language learning app in October last year.
