Customs officials seize gold worth Rs 8 Cr

In a huge haul, 23 kg of gold, valued at Rs eight crore, was today seized at the airport here and one person detained in this connection, police said.
Customs officials found the gold in the baggage of a Mumbai-based passenger, who arrived from Singapore here this evening, airport officials said.
The passenger is being questioned as there was no proper documents for the gold, they said.
