"The server is down for the last one week since CVC has not paid the bills. Non-payment of bills and the simultaneous suspension of services by service providers have happened for two to three times now," Vigilance Commissioner R Sri Kumar told reporters here, responding to a query.
Asked what was the quantum of the bill amount, he said "the bill would be Rs three to four lakhs each month. It's been two/three months since the bills have not been cleared."
Answering a query on when was the problem likely to be resolved, he said "it may take a month for us to find a permanent solution."
Project VIGEYE (Vigilance Eye), a citizen-centric initiative, wherein citizens can join hands with CVC in fighting corruption in the country, was launched on December 9, 2010.
