The accused -- Naga Laxmi, M Jagadeesh and M Raj Kumar -- were arrested after police raided a house under Narsingi police station limits here and seized 300 gram gold ornaments besides two four-wheelers, one bike and furniture, all worth Rs 30 lakh, a release issued by the Cyberabad police said.
They confessed to their involvement in more than 700 chain snatching incidents as well as other offences in Cyberabad and Hyderabad Police Commissionerate limits and Medak district, the police release said.
The cop fired at Siva in self-defence and he died on the spot, the Cyberabad Police Commissioner C V Anand had said yesterday.
Earlier, K Siva, Jagdeeesh and Raj Kumar were arrested by the police in connection with various offences, but were released from jail later after which they had been absconding for the past two years.

Allegedly, the accused used to sell or mortgage stolen booty and received huge amounts with which they led luxurious lifestyle, the police said.
