The expedition, which was kick started from Jammu on September 4, reached Chandigarh on September 14, a defence spokesperson said here.
Earlier, the expedition was flagged in at Chandimandir station by Colonel V S Sekhon, Deputy Commander of Infantry Brigade, he said.
The 36 cyclists will be covering a total distance of 1,211 km from Jammu to Delhi via Chandigarh over a period of 17 days under the Rising Star Corps cycling expedition, he said.
"The cycling expedition reflects the true spirit of sportsmanship, fitness, discipline and adventure that is typical of the Indian Army," he said.
The expedition was able to generate awareness about the 1965 war among the people, the Spokesperson added.
