The event was hosted by the Global Engineering Sourcing Group of Pratt & Whitney, a division of United Technologies Corporation.
This is the third win and second consecutive time that this honour was bestowed on the company, Cyient said in a statement today.
"Engineering suppliers are expected to innovate as part of doing business with Pratt & Whitney by developing intellectual property, adapting new methods using existing tools and improving standard work, as well as speed and productivity.
Krishna Bodanapu, Managing Director & CEO, Cyient Limited, said, "The award not only recognises Cyient's deep domain expertise and unrelenting commitment to creating value through cutting-edge innovation, but it also reiterates Pratt & Whitney's trust in our long-standing collaboration.
"In its 14-plus years of engineering design and research collaboration with global leader Pratt & Whitney, Cyient has developed extensive design engineering capabilities in aero engines, with engagements growing from basic- to system-level engineering," it was stated.
