Seven teams, consisting of 20-25 volunteers, have been formed to campaign outside 21 metro stations in Delhi.
"We have formed seven teams for all the metro lines in Delhi who will focus on 21 major stations. The volunteers would distribute pamphlets to people, especially students, and convince them to vote for the Aam Aadmi Party.
"Teams have been made taking into consideration the residential location of the students involved in campaigning," a CYSS functionary said.
The CYSS volunteers would campaign include Rajiv Chowk, Kashmere Gate, Shahdara, Hauz Khas, Uttam Nagar, Karol Bagh, Dilshad Garden, Central Secretariat.
"We cannot campaign inside the Metro stations, as distributing any kind of pamphlet is prohibited in metro station premises. But the team will move in train and its premises sporting AAP cap and T-shirt.
"We will continue the campaign till the election dates are not announced. Once we come to know the poll dates, our team will involve itself in other forms of campaign," the CYSS volunteer said, adding that during lean time, the volunteers will also be pressed in to campaign around metro stations, like Palika Bazaar near the Rajiv Chowk metro station.
