"We appeal to the government and the Chief Minister to get us out of Kishtwar. We have been stranded here since August 8, but nobody is helping us," Aleshilik told PTI over phone.
Aleshilik, along with his wife Marketa, were preparing to start a trekking expedition from Kishtwar for Dacchan and Paddar areas and to the Zanaskar belt of Ladakh, when communal violence broke in the town and curfew was imposed.
"We are living in a hotel like hostages without proper facilities and food," he added.
