Actor Leslie Mann, 'Downtown Abbey' actor Dan Stevens and 'Bachelorette' actress Rebel Wilson are also in the talks to join the cast of the film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Actress Alison Brie, who was circling the film in mid-2014, is also in final negotiations as the film gears up to shoot in April in New York.
Director Christian Ditter will helm the movie which is based on Liz Tucillo's novel. Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein wrote the original draft, and Dana Fox worked on the current draft.
It is slated for release on February 12, 2016.
