Patnaik is creating a life size sand art illustration of the deity Lord Jagannath at Puri Beach to instill a sense of devotion amongst visiting tourists and devotees.
As part of its plans, Dalda Edible Oils will help the devotees partake the Prasad with its unique initiative 'Bhajan Se Bhojan Tak.'
The devotees at the Rath Yatra will be given empty Dalda KGMO pet bottles filled with Rice grains and Pulses that are sufficient for one person's meal as these form the key ingredients for the Mahaprasad.
Speaking on Dalda's initiative at Rath Yatra this year, Sagar Boke, Marketing Head, Bunge India, said "Ratha Yatra is an important occasion for us and last year we witnessed a tremendous response from the devotees. This year, we wanted to make our presence at the Rath Yatra more impactful and memorable."
