Dalit & ST MPs in favour of National Judicial Service

Some dalit and Scheduled Tribe ministers as well as MPs from various parties held a meeting in the presence of Union Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Thawan Chand Gehlot and favoured constitution of a National Judicial Service and reservation in promotions.
These leaders met at the residence of Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, a dalit leader and LJP President, last night and discussed various issues concerning SCs and STs, sources said.
Among those who were present were - MoS for Finance and Corporate Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal, Lok Sabha MP Kirit Premjibhai Solanki, Rajya Sabha MP PL Punia, Lok Sabha MP Chirag Paswan, Lok Sabha MP Udit Raj, Rajya Sabha MP Amar Shankar Sable.

These leaders will be meeting again next month on December 6.
