Daniel Craig may have been playing James Bond since 2005, but the actor does not want to be as sexist and misogynistic as the character.
Craig, 47, who is married to actress Rachel Weisz, said while Bond can easily woo women, he does not form any meaningful relationships which leaves him "very lonely," reported Mirror.
"There's a great sadness. He's got these beautiful women but then they leave. It's sad.
"And as a man gets older it's not a good look. It might be a nice fantasy, that's debatable, but the reality, after a couple of months..." he said.
The actor went on to add he does not want his Bond to be "as sexist and misogynistic" as previous ones, saying, "The world has changed."
"I am certainly not that person. But he is... So what does that mean? It means you cast great actresses and make the parts as good as you can for the women in the movies," he said.
