'Dare to Dream' wins main Hyderabad winter race

Oddson favourite 'Dare to Dream', ably ridden by I Chisty, claimed The Alcock Arabian Million, the chief event of Hyderabad Winter Races held here today.
The winner was trained by M S'vas Reddy.
Trainers M S'vasReddy, Prasad R and jockeys I Chisty and Suraj Narredu scored a double each.
Five first favourites obliged in a card of nine events.
The Champion Trainers Trophy was claimed by Lakshman Singh, who has 34 wins to his credit, while Champion jockeys Trophy was shared by Kuldeep Singh and AM Tograllu, both having 25 wins each.
K Mukesh Kumar won the Champion Apprentice Jockey's Trophy with eleven wins to his credit.
M A M Ramaswamy was the leading individual owner, winning a total stakes of more than Rs 82.21 lakh. At Rs 73.32 lakh won in total stake money, he was also the top individual owner with horses raced in Hyderabad.

The leading joint owners were Mr Ahmed Alam Khan and Vijay Racing and Farms Pvt Ltd, represented by Vijay Kumar Gupta and Susheel Kumar Gupta with a total stake money winnings of more than Rs 40.79 lakh.
The leading bookmaker was Narsing and Company with a stake money of more than Rs 51.21 lakh.
The Deccan Chronicle won the leading Tipster Trophy by nominating 100 outright winners during the winter season.
'Roses in Bloom' was declared as Champion Horse, while 'Black Bolt' was adjudged Horse of the Season.
