The 26-year-old actress has worked with Aronofsky in upcoming film "Mother," reported Vanity Fair.
"He is a visionary," Lawrence said, adding that she accepted the role even before reading the script.
"The Hunger Games" star said she wanted to work with Aronofsky, 47, ever since the release of his Oscar-winning 2010 film, "Black Swan."
Lawrence and Aronofsky first sparked dating rumors back in October when they were spotted having a cozy dinner together at Los Angeles' Commissary restaurant. The pair took their romance public in New York City earlier this month during two PDA-filled outings.
