Das administers oath to people to save water, plant saplings

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today administered the oath to people to 'save water and plant saplings' to protect environment at the 'Haryali Sapath Samaroh', ahead of the month long plantation of one crore saplings scheduled to begin on July 1.
Appealing to save every drop of rain, conserve water and save electricity, Das said environment was a matter for concern and its imbalance was seen clearly.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh was present during the programme.
Union Minister of State for Rural Development Sudarshan Bhagat, Jharkhand Urban Development minister C P Singh, MPs Ravindra Rai, Ramtahal Choudhary and Mahesh Poddar were also among the dignitaries present on the occasion.
