Das thanks PM for removing OBC creamy layer

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for raising the creamy layer ceiling to Rs 8 lakh per annum from the existing Rs 6 lakh for OBC.
Das said the decision has been taken in the interest of the people, which showed the government's commitment to take forward the backward committee, an official release said.
The OBC category earning up to Rs 8 lakh per annum would now get the reservation benefits.
