Dashing Delhi sign off with thumping win

Dabang Delhi finally got their act together as the home side thrashed visiting Bengal Warriors 46-36, at last providing some joy to the home crowd in inaugural Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League at the Thyagraj stadium here today.
Kashiling Adake and Ravinder Singh stole the limelight as they were adjudged Star Raider and Best Defender of the match while Nitine Madane scored maximum points for Bengal Warriors.
Going into the final match of the Delhi leg, the home side was languishing at the bottom of the points table after three successive loses. A beleaguered Dabang Delhi were in search of a desperate win to revive their fortunes in the tournament.
Bengal Warriors arrived in the city after going down meekly in their previous encounter to U Mumba in Kolkata.
Unlike their previous matches, Dabang Delhi got off to a rollicking start as they packed off the entire Bengal Warriors side within the first 10 minutes and managed to take a 11-4 lead.
Bengal's ace raider, Korean recruit, Jang Kun Lee and Nitin Madane, tried hard for the visitors but it was the Delhi's attacking duo of Surjeet Narwal and Kashiling Adake who showed precision and class as the first half ended with Delhi taking an unprecedented lead of 27-12.
Cheered by a boisterous crowd, Delhi started the second half in an attacking mode, scoring briskly as they took a lead of 40-15.
