A data entry operator was suspended by the Delhi government after he was caught watching 'Mahabharata' in his office computer during an inspection drive by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.
Sisodia and Health Minister Satyender Jain were making rounds of a facility of the Food and Supply department in east Delhi where ration cards are distributed yesterday. A Polyclinic is also located nearby.
In a video released by the Aam Aadmi Party, Sisodia is seen quietly entering a room while the man is immersed watching a movie in his desktop. Soon after, he gently taps the man, leaving him visibly shaken.
"Is this the place to watch cinema? People are in standing in long queue outside and you are watching cinema," Sisodia reprimanded him and asked an official to remove the data operator of the food and civil supply department immediately.
A government official said that the staff has been suspended due to delinquency in duty.
