Data protection firm Acronis to appoint Indian partner in Q4

Global data protection company Acronis plans to set up a major presence in India with the appointment of a local partner in the fourth quarter of 2015.
"We have found a local partner and we are in the process of opening a major presence in India," Acronis founder CEO Serguei Beloussov told PTI here last night.
The company has launched its latest backup solution versions, Acronis True Image Cloud and Acronis True Image 2016, which are designed for multiple device users in major markets.
"In India, the two versions will enable migration from Androids to IOS and Windows," said Beloussov.

"The Indian market has relatively slow internet connection in some places with a very broad set of devices such as many more Androids and Window phones compared to iPhones," he observed.
"But it is automatic to store data with these versions and it is a very flexible way to backup."
The backup solution is for individuals, families and home office users.
Acronis True Image Cloud features multi-device and new mobile device support - including Android, iPhone, and iPad devices and Windows tablets - a new easy-to-use online dashboard that lets users manage all devices from a single place, unlimited cloud storage and new personal archiving, the company said.
