This database shall be integrated with the delivery of citizen-centric services and will also help in identifying bogus ration cards under the public distribution system, Haryana Additional Chief Secretary, Finance, Sanjeev Kaushal said here today.
Kaushal said the government has set a target of Rs 7,343.69 crore for allocation to Yamunanagar under District Annual Credit Plan in 2016-17. In the year 2015-16, this target was Rs 6,385.84 crore and achievement was Rs 6,771.56 crore.
Kaushal said that under the 'Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana', which was launched with the objective of ensuring financial inclusion of every individual, 2,81,605 bank accounts have so far been opened in Yamunanagar.
Under the scheme, 2,45,179 Rupay Cards have been issued in the district, which is 87.06 per cent of the total target, he said.

Apart from this, 73,721 zero deposit accounts have been started, which is 26.17 per cent of the total target.
Loans are given under three categories namely 'Shishu', which covers loans up to Rs 50,000, 'Kishore', which covers loans above Rs 50,000 and up to Rs 5,00,000, and 'Tarun', which covers loans above Rs 5,00,000 and up to Rs 10,00,000, he added.
He said that in 2015-16, loans of Rs 10,137.85 lakh were provided under the Mudra scheme in Yamunanagar.
Kaushal, who also held a meeting with officers of district administration in Yamunanagar today directed them to take concrete steps towards displaying rate list of essential services at all common service centres.
