The 48-year-old actor said he was a fan of the former "Bond" star and could not find the courage to express his excitement of working with him, reported Empire magazine.
"I sent an email to Pierce Brosnan after I worked with him on a film in London. I'm a huge fan, but I thought it might be weird to tell him that before we started shooting. So I wrote him a little love letter afterwards," Bautista said.
The "Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 2" star said he was also in awe of actor Ryan Gosling but did not realise it till they worked together on the upcoming film "Blade Runner 2049".
