Dave dedicates a number of facilities at Jahanpur

Union Environment Minister Anil Madhav Dave dedicated a number of facilities including a night shelter for people of Jahanpur Gram Panchayat in Sihor district in Madhya Pradesh.
The Minister dedicated the facilities to the village panchayat which houses around 100 families under Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana yesterday.
"The Minister dedicated a night shelter, particularly for the benefit of people performing a circumambulation (Parikarama) of River Narmada. A toilet has also been constructed to prevent people from defecating in the open," an official statement said.
Dave also inaugurated a water filter plant which will provide 20-25 litres water per day per family and an auditorium to to encourage people to organize cultural activities.

He also inaugurated a Panchayat Bhawan. Dave also distributed school uniforms to children of the village and held discussions with women members of NGOs.
The Environment Minister also held a review meeting with officers of the concerned departments to review the various works being undertaken in the area, the statement added.
