Rocker David Bowie's teenage daughter Alexandria will inherit USD 25 million on her 25th birthday.
The rock iconic lost his battle with cancer in January at the age of 69, and on Tuesday it was revealed the "Fame" hitmaker had put aside USD 25 million for each of his two children, reported New York Daily News.
Filmmaker Duncan Jones, Bowie's 44-year-old son with his first wife, actress Angela Barnett, will inherit his share in the coming weeks, while Alexandria, the singer's child with wife Iman, will have to wait another 10 years to receive her funds.
Veteran estate and probate lawyer Peter Valente was appointed Alexandria's legal guardian at the request of her mother during a hearing in Manhattan Surrogate Court in New York.
Bowie left the remainder of his USD 100 million fortune to former supermodel Iman, his wife of 24 years, while he left her their apartment in Manhattan's trendy Soho district, too.
The rock star also didn't forget about his loyal household staff members and assistants, setting aside a few million dollars to make sure they were taken care of.
Bowie's death on January 10 sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry and he has been honoured with tribute performances at recent awards shows, including the Oscars and the Grammys, when Lady Gaga performed a medley of his biggest hits.
Pop star Lorde also honoured Bowie at the BRIT Awards in London days later with a rendition of "Life on Mars".
