Day temp continues to remain below 40-degree mark in Delhi

For the fourth day in a row, day temperature in the national capital remained below 40 degree Celsius.
However, Met department has predicted that this streak of pleasant weather is now coming to an end and Delhiites should brace themselves up for searing heat in the next couple of days.
Maximum temperature today was registered at 39.8 degree Celsius, one point above normal and 2.2 degrees higher than yesterday's 37.6 deg C.
Minimum temperature remained one notch below normal at 24.6 degree Celsius. However, it was 1.4 degrees up from yesterday's 23.2 deg C.
Humidity levels oscillated between 24 and 70 per cent.
The Weatherman has predicted clear skies for tomorrow and the maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be 41 and 25 deg C respectively.
