"Power will be supplied in day timings to agriculture sector in the state from this April while measures are taken up to provide round-the-clock power to all sectors from 2018," Rao said while addressing a review meeting at Dubbak in Medak district.
Rao said his government has ensured that domestic sector gets uninterrupted electricity since last year.
"The supply of day-time power supply to agri sector will reduce the problems of farmers and enable them hassle-free agriculture.
Rao said his government was implementing its flagship scheme 'Bhagiratha' which envisages providing drinking water to every household in the state.
