DCB Bank launches Aadhaar-based ATM in Odisha

DCB Bank today launched its new ATM in Odisha that accepts a customer's Aadhaar number and fingerprint impression, in addition to the usual debit card security options.
The launch coincided with the inauguration of five new branches of the private sector bank in Bijipur, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Palla and Pathar Pada.
DCB Bank Managing Director and CEO Murali M Natrajan said, "We are delighted to launch Aadhaar-based ATM in Odisha. This is a unique and wonderful facility. Odisha is a very important market for us. The new ATMs and branches are a testimony to our commitment to the state."
DCB Bank's branches in Odisha offer a range of products for farmers, agri-businesses, micro and small businesses and individuals.
The bank provides loans for tractors, dairy, crop, land development, agri processing activities as well as high-tech farming such as greenhouses.
It also offers warehouse construction loan, finance against warehouse receipts, loan against gold, foreign exchange service and cash management services, he said.
DCB Bank's financial inclusion initiative focuses on micro-deposits and savings accounts for low-income groups, who did not have access to the banking system previously.
Narendranath Mishra, Head Agri and Inclusive Banking, DCB Bank, said, "DCB Bank branches in Odisha have now grown to 21 branches. The bank offers courteous and customer-friendly services and we are delighted to announce the launch of DCB Car Loan for customers in Odisha.
