The woman was discharged from hospital today. She was first taken to Rajghat where she offered prayers before heading home.
Over 400 vehicles and thousands of women from across the city assembled at Rajghat to take her home.
"We appeal to people to join the campaign by giving missed call at 9313-181-181 and send information on illegal liqour and drugs trade through whatsapp. The identity of those providing information to the commission shall be kept secret," DCW chief Swati Maliwal said.
Terming the incident as "shocking and shameful", Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had sought intervention from Lt Governor Anil Baijal and demanded action against local policemen who were allegedly colluding with those running the racket.
Police have registered a case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code against those who assaulted the woman.
