Five minors -- three girls and two boys -- along with three youths were rescued from a placement agency here by Delhi Commission for Women today.
The children were held captive at a placement agency located in Raghubir Nagar.
"One NGO had tipped the Commission about few minors being held captive at a placement agency in Raghubir Nagar following which a team of counsellors of DCW went there and found the children locked up in a room," a DCW official said.
A complaint in this regard has been filed at Khyala police station. However, an FIR is yet to be registered.
DCW chairperson Swati Maliwal also went to the police station.
