DD to beam ABC's 'Bananas in Pyjamas' show

Doordarshan's National channel in collaboration with Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) is bringing the award winning series for kids 'Bananas in Pyjamas', to Indian homes.
The loveable children's characters would be seen every Sunday at 10.30 am on DD National, a statment released here said.
To mark their arrival in India, characters from the show have come all the way from Australia to say 'Hello' in person and will be presenting their first Banana in Pyjamas' live shows in Delhi having already presented live shows in Mumbai.
Prasar Bharati CEO Jawhar Sircar said "the launch of Australia Plus Kids' Programming on DD National is a joyous occasion for it would help Indians better appreciate Australia and its culture.
