Death of man in road accident incites violence, 3 injured

A 38-year-old man was run over by a tractor in Pipraich area here today following which angry locals indulged in arson in which three persons, including two policemen, were injured, police said.
Locals attacked police team with bricks, and torched three police motorcycles.
Raj Kumar was crushed to death when he was hit by a tractor in Kanchanpur village while riding his cycle, police said.
Agitated over the incident, locals attacked police team with bricks and set on fire their three motorcycles.
In a bid to control the situation police used force and fired tear gas, ASP (city) Paresh Pandey said.

He said that an FIR has been registered in this connection.
