Death toll in Pak factory collapse rises to 39

The death toll in the collapse of a four-storey factory in Pakistan rose to 39 as the rescuers today pulled out a man alive who was buried under the rubble for over 50 hours.
The four-storey structure of polythene bag making factory collapsed on Wednesday evening in Lahore and dozens of workers of civilian and army have been busy to clear the debris.
Pakistan's rescuers pulled out alive a young man buried under the crumbled factory building for over 50 hours.
Local TV footage showed that an 18-year old man found alive under the debris.
"He had only minor injury at one of his foot but was weak and was shifted to hospital," an official said.

Rescue official said that so far 39 people have been killed, including the factory owner, whose body was retrieved today.

More than 100 survivors have already been pulled out from the fallen structure of the Rajpoot Industry.
It is believed that over two dozen people are under the debris and hopes were fading for anyone left alive.
It was not clear what caused the collapse but the several buildings have been badly impacted by the 7.5 magnitude quake that shook the country on October 26.
