A release from the office of Commissioner of Labour recalled that the government had already declared a public holiday on July 30 "as a mark of respect" to the late Kalam.
"In continuation to this, all industrial establishments shall declare a holiday on July 30, 2015 under Negotiable Instruments Act 1881," it said.
The funeral of the former President will take place in Rameswaram at 11 AM tomorrow with full military honours.
