The defamation suit was filed following allegations levelled by Anurag and Arun, sons of former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister P K Dhumal, over financial dealings between Chandrashekhar's firm and present CM Virbhadra Singh and his family members.
Addressing a series of rallies in Sujanpur area of the district, Anurag said once the matter had come before the court everything would become clear, and claimed since they were on the right side the decision would be in their favour.
He reiterated his stand on charges against Singh and his family members over the alleged financial dealings with Chandrashekhar, and asserted that whatever had been said by the Dhumal family was based on facts.
Slamming the Congress for ignoring the interests of the people of the country and pushing them towards bankruptcy, he said that while poor were becoming poorer, others were thriving due to their "high links".

Claiming that a Modi wave was sweeping the country, he said that wherever he went he found a strong wave to make Narendra Modi the next Prime Minister.
Former Chief Minister Dhumal has also hailed the decision of the Delhi High court to issue summons to his sons.
Talking to reporters after inaugurating the first "NaMo tea stall" here today, Dhumal said since he had been demanding a judicial enquiry into the matter, it was a welcome step.
Dhumal said the views expressed by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during a television interview had proved that the party had neither any leadership nor any programme for the people.
