Defence officials, academicians to participate in INA seminar

Apart from a number of senior officers of the Navy, the Army and the Air Force, eminent academicians and luminaries from DRDO would participate in the second edition of Indian Naval Academy's (INA's) annual two-day seminar scheduled here from October 4.
The theme for this year's seminar will be "The Role of Technology in Leadership", an INA release said, adding, that the academy is poised for further exponential growth to feed the needs of the country's rapidly expanding Navy.
This year's seminar is being conducted as part of INA's ongoing efforts towards institutional development and with an objective to provide a common platform for experts in the various fields to congregate and share their wisdom, it said.

With 1,500 young men and women already undergoing a training programme, the INA is only a few short-years away from reaching its designed capacity of 2,600 officer-trainees, the release said.
