Revenge would be on the minds of Rising Student Club when they lock horns with defending champions Eastern Sporting Union in the summit clash of the second Hero Indian Women's League at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here tomorrow.

Rising Student Club had suffered a 3-0 loss against Eastern Sporting Union in the finals of the inaugural edition last year and they have been handed another opportunity to outwit their rivals and lay claim to the crown.

Rising Student Club defeated table toppers KHRYPSA 4-3 on penalties in a dramatic match to move into the finals, while two late goals in extra time proved enough for Eastern Sporting Union to clinch a win against SETHU FC.

We have worked hard to get here (into the finals) and the team has grown substantially from last year, said head coach of Rising Student Club Sukla Dutta. '
