Phatam (13) was admitted to the medicine ward of AIIMS on September 22 in a very critical condition having internal bleeding and died of dengue shock syndrome yesterday afternoon, said AIIMS authorities.
Other victims include 50-year-old Gajendri, a resident of Jawala Nagar, who passed away today afternoon at Swami Dayanand Saraswati Hospital in east Delhi and 20-year-old youth who died of the vector-borne disease at GTB Hospital.
"Gajendri was admitted for a week at the hospital. She had dengue, chest infection, severe anemia," said a senior doctor at Swami Dayanand Saraswati Hospital.
Delhi government has recently ordered that no hospital should deny admission to a dengue patient.

Meanwhile, officials at AIIMS said that a woman died there yesterday of dengue. The deceased hailed from Nadia district of West Bengal, they said.
Nearly 1,700 fresh dengue cases have been reported in the city in the past week, taking the total number of people affected by dengue to 5,471.
Last year, the city had reported three deaths and recorded nearly 1,000 cases.
