"In view of the threat inputs received from different agencies, there is a need for stringent security measures to be adopted so as to avoid any untoward incident during Parliament session. You are requested to get each and every person entering the building searched and frisked thoroughly," says a police advisory.
The advisory was issued to six buildings including Rail Bhawan, RBI, Gurudwara Rakab Ganj and All India Radio.
When asked about the threat inputs, a senior police official refused to divulge the details. He merely said anti-social elements may try to do something spectacular, particularly when Parliament is in session.
The Monsoon session of Parliament begins tomorrow.

Police have also beefed up security in view of Independence Day celebrations.
"The advisory has been issued keeping in mind that anti-national elements are always in the look out for doing something spectacular. Carrying out an attack at the Parliament or in its close vicinity when it is in session and the Independence Day celebrations are round the corner, provides them that opportunity," the official said.
"It is further reiterated that the anti-national elements may use government vehicles/uniforms to reach their targets. The aspect needs to be borne in mind and proper precautionary steps to be taken/devised to nullify the apprehension," the advisory said.
The officer recalled that the Parliament attack in December 13, 2001 came when five heavily-armed terrorists used a white Ambassador car with a beacon and a fake sticker of Union Ministry of Home Affairs to carry out the attack.
"Keeping this in mind, we have asked these buildings to keep a close tab on people in uniform and government vehicles also. Not only can these buildings be used to target Parliament but they too can be targeted as they fall in the high-security zone," the official said.
Besides this, the advisory further says, "All areas in and outside the buildings around Parliament House should be checked regularly for suspicious objects. Junks and stranded vehicles should be removed.
