Over 550 airport staff got free treatment from a team of seven doctors and 21 para-medical staff from Medanta Medicity, an official statement said.
The medical camp was organised jointly by the Delhi International Airport Ltd, Lioness Club Sampoorna and Medanta Medicity at the Public Transport Centre (PTC) near Terminal-3 yesterday.
"In today's 24X7 work environment, airport staff undergo high stress levels, which result in lifestyle diseases such as high blood pressure, weak eyesight etc.," said DIAL CEO, I Prabhakara Rao.
"Therefore, regular health camps such as these allow us to focus on the welfare and well-being of the airport staff who keep India's busiest airport operational," Rao added.
