"We thank the students of Delhi University for their unprecedented support to the ABVP after 18 years in the elections of Delhi University Students Union. This tremendous victory is the magic of the personality of PM Narendra Modi," Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay said here.
Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad swept Delhi University students' union elections, trouncing Congress' NSUI to bag all four positions and credited the triumph to "Modi wave".
"Due to high standard of education in Delhi University, students from all over the country, who have secured highest numbers get admission here and the victory of ABVP in this university where the best students of the country are studying shows that today the youth considers the government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the indicator of Change in the country.
Due to this factor, the students of DU made the ABVP candidates victorious by huge margin of votes," Upadhyay said.
