BJP chief Amit Shah has expressed "unhappiness" over the state of affairs in the Delhi unit of the party ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, party sources said today.
At a meeting of Core Group of the Delhi BJP yesterday, Shah named some MPs, MLAs and incharge of the party unit and expressed his displeasure over lack of proper implementation of his instructions, a party leader said.
The meeting focused on preparing a road map for the 2019 elections and how to repeat the success of the last general elections in which BJP had won all the Lok Sabha seats in Delhi, said another party leader.
Shah instructed the core group members to ensure that coverage of booths was intensified for taking the programmes of the Modi government to maximum households.
He directed the members to wrap up "unfinished" work as instructed by the Central leadership at the earliest possible.
The BJP chief had also attended meetings of social media savvy workers and SC Morcha members of the party.
