Delhi BJP slams AAP government
Press Trust of India New Delhi Terming Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia's suggestion to government school teachers to go for vipassana meditation as a "dirty joke", BJP today said it is the "arrogant" Arvind Kejriwal dispensation's ministers who require to undertake the course.
"We condemn Sisodia for advising Delhi Government school teachers to go to Pune for vipassana meditation. It is not the teachers, but the Kejriwal government ministers who require vipassana meditation to curb their growing arrogance.
"This suggestion of vipassana meditation for teachers seems to be a dirty joke," Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay said.
He further said the teachers have been working in extremely adverse conditions in terms of wages and respect.
"But neither the Congress Government nor the present AAP Government has taken any step to attend to their demands," he alleged, adding, the AAP government is ignoring concerns of regular as well as guest teachers.
