"Delhi University people are saying it's a job oriented programme, more specialisations will be there and I am in favour of this four-year-programme," Delhi BJP Chief Vijay Goel said, while releasing an admission information booklet for the students aspiring to take admission in the DU.
It is for the first time that Delhi BJP has released such a booklet, seen as an attempt to woo young voters ahead of Delhi Assembly polls due later this year.
Asked about the reasons of publishing the booklet, Goel said there was confusion about the new programme among the students.
"This booklet has all the information regarding the admission procedure and students can also view the same bulletin on the BJP website too," he said.

He said a new call centres run by party workers would be set up and students can register there queries regarding the admission in DU.
Lamenting the fact that DU has less number of seats and most of them were for reserved category students or were taken up by outstation candidates, Goel said due to this, students from Delhi have to take admission in private universities.
To deal with this shortage of seats, Goel said Delhi government should open more new colleges as well as universities and increase the seats in the existing colleges.
"We are also demanding that all the colleges with morning classes can be converted into evening colleges so that they can facilitate more number of students. Today Delhi students are moving to the private universities and paying higher fees," the BJP leader said.
The admission booklet has DU's admission schedule, information regarding new FYUP and courses offered.
It also had list of all the colleges -- zone wise, procedure for fees refund, bus routes, last year cut-off lists and many related things for the better understanding of a students.
