Refuting AAP's allegation that BJP was behind the DTC strike Upadhyay said "AAP's allegation was not a new thing. I can also allege that some people are saying that those who were involved in the incident were connected to AAP and Gopal Rai went their to save the accused."
A delegation of Delhi BJP leaders will meet the family of deceased DTC bus driver Ashok's family and provide a relief of Rs 5 lakh, he said.
Attacking CM Arvind Kejriwal of running an "undeclared emergency" regime, he said that "several AAP MLAs were accused in law and order matters but Kejriwal was mum on it".
"An FIR was filed against AAP MLA Pramila Tokas in SC/ST Act provisions an year ago and now the chargesheet has also been filed. We want to known from Kejriwal if he will order her arrest and ask her to resign," Upadhyay said.
Accusing AAP government of curtailing press freedom, Upadhyay charged that "monitoring media content was an attempt to stop media from exposing it and also it was another move to pave way of some more AAP volunteers in Delhi Secretariat.
