Kejriwal went to the depot at around 7 PM and held talks with the workers who have been demanding regularisation of their jobs, sources said.
Kejriwal is learnt to have assured the striking workers regarding the government's cooperation in the matter and also told them about the formulation of a committee to look into the issue of regularisation of contractual jobs.
About 2,500 contractual DTC employees, including drivers and conductors, have gone on strike, hitting the bus service.
Earlier, a group of contractual DTC drivers and conductors had made a representation on their demand for regularisation of jobs at Kejriwal's Kaushambi residence on December 29, a day after he had assumed office as the Delhi Chief Minister.
