The Delhi congress has included unemployment and price hike issues in its 'Nyay Yudh campaign', originally intended against "illegal" sealing in the national capital, and will hold a mega rally in the city to highlight the "plight" of Delhiites hit by them.
The convener of the campaign, Mukesh Sharma, said the 'Lalkar Rally' will be held in northwest Delhi's Bawana on September 30, while the 'Hunkar Rally' will be held at Ghonda in northeast Delhi Lok Sabha constituency, which is represented by Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari.
"In addition to "illegal" sealing issue, Delhi Congress will also take up the plight of lakhs of people rendered jobless due to the illegal sealing and the back-breaking price rise," he told reporters.
For preparation of the rallies, former Congress MLAs Surender Kumar and Bisham Sharma will hold over 200 meetings, Sharma said.
The Congress leader attacked Manoj Tiwari who appeared in the Supreme court Tuesday in pursuance to the contempt notice issued to him for allegedly breaking the seal of a premises which was being run in violation of the Delhi Master Plan.
"Tiwari, instead of indulging in seal-breaking drama, should open the minds of the BJP leaders to provide relief to the lakhs of people affected by the illegal sealing," Sharma said.
