Delhi continues to reel under heat wave, records 42.3 deg C

The national capital today continued to reel under heat wave conditions with the maximum temperature settling at 42.3 degrees Celsius, three notches above the normal.
The minimum temperature was also recorded at three notches above the season's average at 28 degrees Celsius as compared to yesterday's 27.6 degrees Celsius, a MeT department official said.
The humidity levels oscillated between 32 and 16 per cent.
The weatherman has predicted partly cloudy sky along with the possibility of dust storms in some areas tomorrow.
"The sky will be partly cloudy tomorrow. Dust storms may occur in some parts of the city. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 42 and 28 degrees respectively," the official said.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature had settled at 42.7 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 27.6 degrees Celsius.
